| Obverse description | Plain cream paper Notgeld issued by the City of Kreuznach, dated 10 August 1923, with a green guilloche underprint panel along the left edge bearing the vertical inscription '1 MILLION' and the series letter and serial number. The denomination 'Eine Million Mark' is rendered in large blackletter (Fraktur) typeface at centre, above which the issuing authority is stated as 'Gutschein der Stadt Kreuznach.' A circular embossed municipal seal appears in the lower centre field, accompanied by the manuscript signature of the Bürgermeister. |
