The numeral denomination "=1 000 000 MARK=" is printed in large bold serif type at the centre, with a lightly printed laurel wreath vignette positioned behind it as an underprint. The printer's imprint "SCHAAR & DATIE A.-G. TRIER" appears in small capitals along the lower margin. |
