American Art Classics produced a long run of novelty "million dollar" pieces aimed squarely at the souvenir and motivational gift market — this 2002 soccer-themed piece being one of the more targeted variants in that output. These were never legal tender, never issued by any monetary authority, and never intended to be. They circulate almost exclusively through gift shops, team fundraisers, and bulk novelty distributors.
Collector value is negligible. Interest, when it exists at all, is topical — soccer memorabilia collectors occasionally pick them up as curiosities.
