EuroSouvenir notes have no legal tender status anywhere — they are sold at face value plus a markup, essentially collectible receipts. Oberthur Fiduciaire prints them to genuine banknote specification, same security paper and intaglio work used on circulating issues, which is the only reason the secondary market treats them seriously at all.

The Technik Museum Speyer holds one of the largest collections of aerospace hardware in Europe, including the Buran space shuttle orbiter brought from Moscow in 2008.
