EuroSouvenir notes occupy an odd legal niche — they are produced to genuine banknote specifications, printed by licensed security printers, and intentionally assigned a zero denomination to sidestep EU currency law while remaining collectible as novelty items. Oberthur Fiduciaire, one of the few firms authorized to produce euro-format security paper, handles the printing under the same technical standards applied to circulating issues.
Mother Teresa was born Anjezë Gonxhe Bojaxhiu in Skopje in 1910 — then part of the Ottoman Empire — to an Albanian family, a biographical detail often flattened in popular treatments of her life. She was canonized by Pope Francis in September 2016.
