The 0 euro souvenir note program, administered by the EEAB and printed by Oberthur Fiduciaire, has produced hundreds of regional and cultural issues since its launch around 2015. This particular note commemorates the Most SNP — Mostná národná prírodná pamiatka — a protected natural arch formation in Slovakia. Oberthur prints these on genuine banknote paper with security features drawn from real currency production, which is precisely what makes them attractive to collectors and legally uncomplicated to issue: a face value of zero places them outside monetary regulation entirely.
