EuroSouvenir's zero-denomination collector notes have been produced under license from the European Central Bank since 2015, with Oberthur Fiduciaire handling the print run — the same firm responsible for genuine euro banknotes for several member states. The Miniatur Wunderland edition fits squarely into this commercial souvenir series, sold exclusively at the Hamburg attraction itself.
Miniatur Wunderland, opened in 2001, holds the Guinness World Record for the largest model railway exhibition. The note has no monetary value and no legal tender status anywhere.
