Zoo de Jurques, a small private animal park in Calvados, Normandy, issued this souvenir zero-euro note as part of the memoeuro commercial scheme that proliferated across French tourist attractions from around 2015 onward. The notes carry no monetary value and are not legal tender — they exist purely as collectibles, sold at point of entry. Enschedé's involvement lends genuine security paper credentials to what is essentially a novelty product, which is precisely the commercial logic behind the series: the feel of real currency justifies the retail markup.
