Eurosouvenirs' zero-euro souvenir series has no legal tender status anywhere — they are collector items sold at tourist sites, printed to banknote specification by Oberthur Fiduciaire purely as a commercial product. The Borély estate in Marseille's 8th arrondissement has an interesting enough history: the original château was built in the 1760s for a wealthy merchant family, passed through various municipal uses, and now houses the Musée des Arts décoratifs, de la Faïence et de la Mode after a long renovation completed in 2013.

Oberthur's involvement lends these souvenirs genuine security printing credentials — proper intaglio, watermark paper, and EURion constellation — which is either reassuring or mildly absurd depending on your view of the format.
