EuroSouvenir notes are a collector-focused series issued under agreement with the European Central Bank, which permits their production provided they carry a zero denomination — making them legal in design but not in tender. Oberthur Fiduciaire, one of the few security printers in France with full intaglio capability, handles the bulk of the series and applies the same anti-counterfeiting specifications used on circulating euro banknotes, including the security thread and UV-reactive inks.
The Cerza zoological park near Lisieux in Normandy opened in 1986 and is among the larger wildlife parks in northern France.
