EuroSouvenir's zero-denomination issues are legal novelties — printed to euro banknote specifications by licensed security printers, they carry no monetary value but must meet the same anti-counterfeiting standards as circulating currency. Oberthur Fiduciaire's involvement gives this piece genuine security printing credentials, which is part of the program's commercial appeal. The Wiener Heurigenkultur — Vienna's wine tavern tradition, granted UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage status in 2019 — made its way onto this souvenir within a year of that recognition.
