The 0 euro souvenir series, produced under license from the European Central Bank, has become a legitimate collectible market unto itself — Oberthur Fiduciaire prints them to full euro security standards, including genuine intaglio printing, UV-reactive inks, and embedded security thread. The ECB authorization matters here: these are not novelty reproductions but technically compliant banknotes issued at face value zero.

Kemal Sunal was Turkey's most beloved comic film actor, whose output across the 1970s and 1980s made him a genuine cultural institution. His death from a heart attack in June 2000, mid-flight between Istanbul and Ankara, prompted national mourning at a scale rarely seen for a performer. The 2020 issue date marks twenty years since.
