| Reverse description | The reverse carries vignettes of six iconic European landmarks arranged across the note: the Brandenburg Gate (Berlin), the Tower of Belém (Lisbon), the Eiffel Tower (Paris), the Colosseum (Rome), the Sagrada Família (Barcelona), and the Manneken-Pis (Brussels), all set against a fine guilloche underprint. A reproduction of Leonardo da Vinci's Mona Lisa occupies the right portion of the design. The lower margin bears the printer's imprint "PRINTED BY OBERTHUR FIDUCIAIRE / MADE IN FRANCE" alongside the "0 EURO SOUVENIR" denomination block. |

Faunia is a zoological park in Madrid, and this souvenir zero-euro note was issued in 2019 as part of the broader Euro Souvenir collector program that began around 2015 — a commercial scheme, not a central bank initiative, that has since produced thousands of distinct designs across European tourist sites. Legal tender nowhere, issued at a premium purely as a collectible. Oberthur Fiduciaire printed it using genuine banknote security features: UV-reactive elements, microprinting, and an EURion constellation, giving it the physical credibility that drives the program's appeal despite its complete monetary uselessness.
