Reverse description The reverse carries a standard EuroSouvenir composite design presenting six celebrated European monuments as individual vignettes: the Brandenburg Gate (Berlin), the Tower of Belém (Lisbon), the Eiffel Tower (Paris), the Colosseum (Rome), the Sagrada Família (Barcelona), and Manneken-Pis (Brussels). A reproduction of Leonardo da Vinci's Mona Lisa is positioned to the right of the vignette panel. The denomination '0€' and the printer's imprint 'PRINTED BY OBERTHUR FIDUCIAIRE / MADE IN FRANCE' appear within the design.

The 0 Euro souvenir note program, administered under EuroSouvenir licensing since 2015, occupies an odd corner of modern notaphily — legal in design under ECB tolerance for clearly non-monetary commemorative items, yet printed to genuine banknote specification by Oberthur Fiduciaire, one of the few security printers with an active euro production contract. The "Echoes of Cyprus" release is part of a themed series rather than a territorially issued note; Cyprus itself has no hand in its production or distribution.

Oberthur's involvement is the collector angle here. The same French facility producing circulating currency for eurozone members is running these tourist-market pieces on identical security substrate.
