The Eurosouvenirs program, authorized by the European Central Bank, licenses private operators to produce zero-denomination collector notes that conform to euro banknote aesthetics but carry no legal tender status. Oberthur Fiduciaire — one of Europe's most established security printers — produces these on genuine 100% cotton substrate with functional security features including a watermark and hologram, making them physically indistinguishable in hand from circulating currency.

Designer Małgorzata Pławecka-Jasek contributed to several issues in this series. Which diocesan museum is commemorated here is the detail that matters for collector attribution — the program spans hundreds of individual site-specific releases across the continent.
