EuroSouvenir notes are a privately managed collector series launched in 2012, distributed through tourist sites and museums across the eurozone. They carry no legal tender status and are not issued by any central bank. Oberthur Fiduciaire prints them to the same technical standards as circulating currency — security paper, intaglio where specified — which is the commercial point. The Bioparc at Doué-la-Fontaine is one of France's older zoological parks, occupying a former troglodyte quarry site in the Maine-et-Loire.
