EuroSouvenir 0 euro notes launched in France in 2016 as a licensed collector scheme, sold through tourist sites and local attractions at a small premium over face value — which is zero, so any price is technically a premium. Oberthur Fiduciaire produced the series, giving these souvenir pieces the same security substrate and print quality used for genuine circulating issues, including genuine euro-format intaglio printing.

Berck-sur-Mer's international kite festival, held annually on the Côte d'Opale since 1981, draws competitors from across Europe and Asia and is among the oldest dedicated kite events on the continent.
