Reverse description The reverse carries an ensemble of engraved vignettes representing iconic European landmarks arranged across the full width of the note: the Brandenburg Gate (Germany) at far left, the Torre de Belém (Portugal), the Eiffel Tower (France) rendered in pink-red tones at centre, the Colosseum (Italy) in blue-violet, the Sagrada Família (Spain) in purple, and the Manneken-Pis statue (Belgium) in gold at far right. A vertical security thread with repeated circular windows runs through the centre of the note. Stars from the EU flag motif are scattered across the upper field, and a guilloche underprint in pastel tones fills the background. The EURO SOUVENIR logotype appears at lower right.

The Euro Souvenir program is a private commercial venture, not a central bank issue — these notes carry no legal tender status anywhere. Oberthur Fiduciaire, one of France's serious security printers with a long history of producing circulating currency for sovereign states, handles the physical production, which is why the paper and thread feel more credible than the concept deserves.

Austria's appearance at UEFA Euro 2024 in Germany was their first knockout-stage run in decades, making the timing at least historically grounded. The R. Faille signature is a standard Oberthur authorization, not a monetary official.
