EuroSouvenir notes are a private collector series launched around 2015, printed to official euro banknote specifications by licensed security printers — Oberthur Fiduciaire among them — but carrying no monetary value and issued solely for the tourist trade. They are legal novelties, not legal tender. The Argelès-sur-Mer edition targets the seaside resort town at the foot of the Pyrénées-Orientales, one of the more heavily visited spots on the Catalan coast of France.

Oberthur's involvement lends the physical note genuine security-print quality — the paper stock, intaglio feel, and UV features mirror circulating issues more closely than casual buyers usually expect.
