| Obverse description |
The central vignette occupies the right two-thirds of the note with a vivid multicolour composition of marine life — including a shark, sea turtle, ray, octopus, and shoals of fish — set against a rose-violet guilloche underprint. To the left, the standard Euro Souvenir format elements appear: the EU flag with twelve stars, the large intaglio-style zero denomination numeral, a vertical arc of gold stars, and the coloured 'EURO SOUVENIR' logotype at lower centre. The Grand Aquarium Saint-Malo circular logo is positioned at lower centre-right, accompanied by a facsimile signature of R. Faille, C.E.O., and the serial number prefix UEEB at lower right. |
| Reverse description |
The reverse follows the standard Euro Souvenir layout, with vignettes of six iconic European landmarks arranged across the note: the Brandenburg Gate (Berlin), the Belém Tower (Lisbon), the Eiffel Tower (Paris), the Colosseum (Rome), the Sagrada Família (Barcelona), and the Manneken-Pis (Brussels). A reproduction of Leonardo da Vinci's Mona Lisa appears at the right. The denomination '0€' is printed at upper left, and printer and origin inscriptions appear at lower centre. |
