The EuroSouvenir 0 Euro program, administered under license from the European Central Bank, launched in France in 2016 and quickly became a collector's market in its own right — with Oberthur Fiduciaire producing all notes in the series to full legal security specifications despite the zero denomination rendering them worthless as tender. This example commemorates the 24-hour endurance race held at the Nürburgring, one of the most technically demanding circuits in the world, known since the 1920s. Faille's signature appears as the nominal authorizing officer across the souvenir series.
