| Obverse description | Printed on pale blue guilloche underprint, the obverse is headed by a large Gothic-script title 'Wertbeständiges Notgeld' across the upper portion, flanked at right by a vertical column of three ornate lathe-work rosettes. The denomination is expressed in three parallel equivalences — '1/10 Dollar = 10 cts = 0,42 G. Mark' — in bold letterpress, below which multi-line text in German identifies the issuing firm and the redemption banks. A red serial number box appears at lower left, with the firm name 'Gebrüder Spohn G.m.b.H.' in bold at lower centre-right, a circular violet handstamp, a manuscript signature, and the place-and-date line 'Neckarsulm, den 1. November 1923' at bottom left. |
