| Reverse description | Cream-coloured note with a green guilloche underprint, enclosed by a fine beaded rectangular border with decorative corner ornaments. The heading 'Stadtgemeinde Landau.' is set in large Gothic blackletter script at the top, flanked at upper left and right by the denomination '0,42 Mk. Gold.' repeated twice in smaller type. A block of justified Gothic text in the centre details redemption conditions at the Stadthauptkasse and the städtische Sparkasse Landau, with conversion based on the official Berlin exchange rate, followed by a clause rendering the note void before 1 April 1924 if not presented within one month of notice. The denomination '0,42 Mk. Gold = 1/10 Dollar.' is restated at the foot. |

Die Einlösung dieses Gutscheines erfolgt bei der Stadthauptkasse sowie bei der städtischen Sparkasse Landau in Mark Reichswährung, wobei der Dollar zum Mittelkurs der amtlichen Berliner Notierung des der Einlösung vorhergehenden Börsentages umgerechnet wird. Dieser Gutschein wird auch vor dem 1. April 1924 ungültig, wenn er nicht innerhalb 1 Monat nach erfolgter Bekanntgabe bei den veröffentlichten Einzugsstellen eingereicht wird. 0,42 Mk. Gold = 1/10 Dollar. |
