Obverse description Laureate head of Apollo facing right, rendered in fine Hellenistic style with flowing locks of hair cascading behind the neck; a small symbol (ivy leaf or similar) is visible in the left field. The portrait displays careful modelling of facial features characteristic of Campanian Greek coinage of the early third century BC. The entire design is set within a beaded border.

Reverse description Man-headed bull (the river god Acheloos in bovine form) advancing to the right in a vigorous stride, with a bearded human head turned to face the viewer; a monogram or control symbol appears in the exergue, here reading ΛΕ. The figure is boldly modelled in high relief, a hallmark of Neapolitan bronze coinage. The legend NEOΠOΛITΩN is disposed around the field, and the entire design is enclosed within a beaded border.
