Obverse description Helmeted head of Athena in right profile, wearing a Corinthian helmet pushed back on the crown, rendered in archaic-influenced style typical of Mysian civic bronze coinage. The facial features are boldly modelled with a pronounced eye and strong jaw. The neck is bare, and the helmet bowl exhibits a smooth, undecorated surface with a faint suggestion of a crest above. The field is plain and unencumbered by legend.
