Obverse description Laureate head of Apollo facing left, rendered in the Hellenistic Sicilian style with flowing hair arranged in thick locks behind the neck. A laurel wreath crowns the deity's head, with fine die-work visible in the facial features. The ethnic inscription TYNΔAPITAN is partially visible along the left field, identifying the civic authority of the mint. The surfaces display an even green patina consistent with long burial.
