Obverse description Laureate head of a female deity, identified as Hera, facing right in profile. The hair is elaborately arranged in a kekryphalos-style coiffure with tresses swept back from the temples and gathered at the nape. The facial features are rendered in a naturalistic Hellenistic style with a straight nose, slightly parted lips, and a well-defined chin. The field is plain, with no legend present on this side.
