| Obverse description | Laureate bust of Apollo facing slightly right, rendered in high relief within a dotted border. The deity's hair is elaborately dressed and encircled by a laurel wreath, with wavy locks framing the face. The truncation of the bust is visible at the lower field. The surrounding field is plain, with the dotted border forming a clean inner frame typical of late Hellenistic civic bronze coinage. |

| Reverse description | A kithara (lyre), the principal civic emblem of Abydos, depicted upright in the center of the field with its characteristic U-shaped frame and crossbar. The Greek legend ΑΒΥΔΗ arcs across the upper field above the instrument, identifying the issuing city. To the lower left of the lyre, a small forepart of an eagle or similar secondary symbol is discernible. The design is contained within a plain border, with the field showing the characteristic rough surface of hammered bronze coinage. |
