Reverse description Two dolphins depicted in profile, swimming to the right, arranged one above the other with a South-Lusitanian (Iberian) legend inscribed horizontally between them. The dolphins are rendered schematically with curved bodies and bifurcated tails, characteristic of Iberian peninsular bronze coinage of the period. The legends flanking the dolphins constitute the ethnic or mint name in the local Southwestern script. The design is boldly struck but irregular due to the hammered technique and irregular flan.
