| Obverse description | The obverse displays the enamelled heraldic shield of the Zveza Slovenskih Častnikov (ZSČ), divided into three fields in the Slovenian national colours of white, blue, and red, bearing the initials ZSČ in relief and a green apple motif at the base. Two crossed batons or lances appear behind the shield, flanked on either side by laurel branches in relief.
