Beschrijving voorzijde Youthful head of Heracles facing right, crowned with the scalp of the Nemean lion, the leonine jaws resting upon the hero's head and the skin knotted beneath his chin. The facial features are rendered in the archaic-transitional style characteristic of early Macedonian coinage, with a rounded cheek, almond-shaped eye, and slightly parted lips. The lion's mane and forepaws are visible framing the portrait, with fine engraved detail despite the small module. The field is plain, with no inscription on the obverse.

Beschrijving keerzijde An eagle stands in left profile with head turned back to the right, its wings folded and talons gripping the ground, rendered in a bold, stylized manner typical of early Macedonian regal coinage. The design is enclosed within a square linear border, itself set within a shallow incuse square, a hallmark of archaic Greek minting technique. The abbreviated royal legend AMYNTA appears in Greek characters within the square border, identifying the issuing king Amyntas III. The composition is compact and well-centered within the coin's restricted flan.
