| Description du revers | The reverse features a central rectangular cartouche framed by a ruled border, enclosing a multi-line nastaliq inscription recording the mint name and AH date. Floral and foliate sprays in the Qajar decorative style fill the spaces between the cartouche and the outer beaded border, lending an ornate character to the field. The inscription within the cartouche reads 'Zarb Mashhad Muqaddas 1266', identifying the place of minting as the holy city of Mashhad and the Hijri year of issue. A continuous outer ring of raised beads frames the entire design, consistent with the obverse treatment.
