| Obverse description | Forepart of a man-headed winged bull (androbull) advancing to the right, rendered in high relief with finely detailed feathering on the wings and musculature on the forelegs. The creature's bearded human head is turned to face right, with visible facial features typical of Lycian dynastic coinage of the late fifth century BC. The design occupies the full flan in the bold, archaic style characteristic of early Lycian silver issues. The field is plain and slightly irregular due to the hammered flan. |
