| Obverse description | Cow standing left upon a dotted ground line, head turned downward as the animal licks the raised hoof of its hind leg, rendered in a lively naturalistic style characteristic of Macedonian coinage of the period. The abbreviated ethnic inscription ΔΙ appears beneath the figure in the lower field, referencing the issuing city of Dikaia.
