| Popis rubu | Phraates IV, depicted as king of kings, is shown seated left upon an ornate throne, his body in three-quarter view. The enthroned figure extends his right hand, likely receiving a bow or diadem in the traditional Arsacid investiture pose. The field is densely surrounded by a multi-line Greek inscription arranged around and below the central device, with Aramaic regnal dating and month legends in the exergue and lower field. The overall composition follows the established Seleucid-derived iconographic convention adapted for Parthian royal coinage at the Seleucia on the Tigris mint. |
