| Obverse description | Laureate head of Zeus facing right, rendered in high relief with masterful Classical Greek craftsmanship. The deity is depicted with flowing, wavy hair swept back beneath an olive laurel wreath, and a full, finely detailed beard with curling locks. The bold, idealised facial features display a strong profile with a prominent brow, aquiline nose, and slightly parted lips, all characteristic of the Pella mint's finest engraving tradition.
