| Obverse description | Draped bust of Orodes II facing slightly left, wearing a stepped tiara. To the right of the bust, a star-in-crescent symbol appears above an inverted anchor device bearing two crossbars at its top and bottom extremities. The portrait is rendered in a schematized, degenerative style characteristic of late Elymaid coinage. No legend is present, the field being otherwise plain. |

| Reverse description | The reverse field is entirely covered by rows of regular, closely spaced parallel diagonal dashes or punch-marks arranged in a uniform pattern across the whole surface, a distinctive stylistic convention of late Elymaid bronze tetradrachms. No legend, inscription, or figural device is present. The overall composition reflects the highly abstracted, aniconic reverse type that became standard for this series under Orodes II. |
