| Obverse description | Radiate head of Helios in three-quarter facing right, rendered with fine Hellenistic artistry. The god's youthful, idealized visage features deeply modeled facial planes, parted lips, and flowing hair swept dramatically to either side of the radiate crown. Individual rays of the solar corona emerge prominently from the head, a hallmark of Rhodian coinage. The high-relief portrait fills the flan with characteristic dynamism, the slightly downward gaze lending the effigy a serene yet powerful presence against a smooth field. |

| Reverse description | A fully open rose with petals spread, accompanied by a rose bud to the right, occupying the central field — the civic badge of Rhodes. The magistrate's name ΟΝΑΣΑΝΔΡΟΣ is inscribed above the rose in Greek letters, while the ethnic abbreviation P and O (for ΡΟΔΙΩΝ) appears on either side of the rose stem. A pileus surmounted by a star is positioned in the upper left field, serving as a secondary control symbol. The entire design is enclosed within a finely executed dotted border. |
