| 正面描述 | Diademed head of the deified Alexander III (the Great) facing right, rendered in fine Hellenistic style with abundant wavy locks swept back from the forehead and cascading behind the neck. A prominent horn of Ammon curls above the right ear, asserting Alexander's divine status as son of Zeus-Ammon. The portraiture is of high artistic quality, with deeply modelled facial features, a strong aquiline profile, and sensitively engraved hair. A small control mark appears below the truncation of the neck. No legend is present on the obverse. |

| 背面描述 | Athena Nikephoros enthroned left, wearing helmet and aegis, her right arm resting on a large round shield decorated with a facing Gorgoneion, a transverse spear visible in the background field. In her extended left hand she holds Nike, who crowns the royal name with a wreath. To the inner left of the throne appears the joined foreparts of two horses (a dynastic symbol), and below in the exergue are two monograms serving as mint or magistrate control marks. The field is flanked by the Greek legend ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΛΥΣΙΜΑΧΟΥ (of King Lysimachus) running along the right and left margins respectively. |
