Obverse description Diademed head of the deified Alexander the Great facing right, rendered in fine Hellenistic style with flowing, voluminous locks swept back from the forehead. A prominent horn of Ammon curls from behind the ear, asserting Alexander's divine status as son of Zeus-Ammon. The diadem is visible across the hair above the brow, and the portrait exhibits sharp, idealized facial features with a strong profile. The neck is truncated at the lower field, with no legend on the obverse.

Reverse description Athena Nikephoros enthroned left on a high-backed throne, wearing helmet and aegis, extending her right hand to present a Nike who crowns the royal epithet, while her left arm rests on a large round shield decorated with a lion's head boss. A long spear leans against her left shoulder. In the inner left field, a forepart of a lion advancing left serves as a mint control symbol. The royal legend is disposed in two lines to the right of the throne.
