Reverse description Athena Nikephoros seated left upon a throne, clad in helmet and aegis, extending her right hand to present a small Nike who crowns the royal name; her left arm rests upon a large round shield decorated with a lion's head boss. A transverse spear leans against her left shoulder behind. In the inner left field, the monogram HP is placed. The reverse legend ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΛΥΣΙΜΑΧΟΥ ('of King Lysimachus') runs along the right and left fields respectively. A crescent symbol appears in the exergue to the left, serving as a mint control mark for the Lampsacus issue.
