Reverse description Zeus Aëtophoros enthroned to the left upon a low stool-throne, his body nude to the waist and draped below, holding in his extended right hand an eagle with spread wings and grasping a tall upright sceptre in his left hand. The legend ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ to the right and ΛΥΣΙΜΑΧΟΥ to the left identify the royal issuer. In the left field, a forepart of a lion facing left is positioned above a crescent, with a pentagram appearing below the throne serving as the mint or control mark for the Kolophon issue.
