| Beschrijving voorzijde | Diademed head of the deified Alexander III (the Great) facing right, rendered in the idealized Hellenistic portrait style with flowing, voluminous curls framing the face. A small ram's horn of Ammon curls forward above the ear, signifying Alexander's divine association with Zeus-Ammon.
