Obverse description Diademed head of the deified Alexander the Great facing right, depicted with the ram's horn of Zeus Ammon curling forward above the ear, rendered in fine Hellenistic style with elaborate flowing locks secured by a royal diadem. The portrait displays a strong, idealized profile with well-defined facial features characteristic of the court engravers of Lysimachos. A dotted border encircles the design, defining the coin's circumference.
