Reverse description Athena Nikephoros enthroned to left, depicted in a stately Hellenistic style; she rests her left elbow upon her round shield, which leans against the throne, while extending her right hand to receive Nike, the winged goddess of victory, who advances to crown the royal name inscribed in the legend. A transverse spear with its point directed to the lower left is placed behind the throne. The legend ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΛΥΣΙΜΑΧΟΥ, reading 'of King Lysimachos', is disposed in the field, with control monograms appearing on the inner left and outer right.
