The diadem is visible across the forehead, and the portrait displays the idealised Hellenistic style characteristic of posthumous Lysimachean coinage. No legend appears on the obverse; the design fills the broad flan, with the relief bold and commanding. |

The goddess holds Nike in her extended right hand, who faces left and crowns the royal legend. The Greek inscription ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΛΥΣΙΜΑΧΟΥ runs along the right and left fields respectively, identifying the issue as struck in the name of King Lysimachus.
