| Obverse description | Diademed and draped bust of Eukratides I facing right, rendered in fine Hellenistic style with characteristic curly hair bound by a royal diadem whose ends fall behind the neck. The portrait displays strong, individualized features with a prominent nose and well-defined jawline, conveying regal authority. The bust is set within a dotted border, the drapery visible at the truncation of the shoulder. The engraving is of high artistic quality, consistent with the finest Baktrian royal coinage of the mid-second century BC. |
