| Beschrijving voorzijde | Heroic diademed and draped bust of Eucratides I facing right, wearing a crested Boeotian-style helmet adorned with a bull's horn and ear, attributes evoking divine and martial authority. The portrait is rendered in the bold Hellenistic tradition characteristic of Baktrian royal coinage, with finely engraved facial features conveying regal gravitas. The helmet crest rises prominently above the fillet-bound diadem, while the bull's ear and horn — emblems associated with divinity — project from the helmet's brow. The bust is truncated at the shoulder, with drapery visible at the lower right. No legend appears on the obverse. |
