Obverse description Diademed and bearded bust of Demetrios II Nikator facing right, rendered in high Hellenistic relief with finely detailed curling hair and a broad diadem tied at the nape; the portrait displays strong, mature facial features characteristic of the later Seleucid royal portraiture style. The neck is bare and the truncation falls cleanly at the lower field. A dotted border runs along the coin's periphery.
