| Beschrijving keerzijde | Left-facing head of a lion with open jaws and protruding tongue, rendered with vigorous naturalism in the Classical tradition. Beneath the lion's head, a tunny fish swims to the left, a longstanding civic badge of Kyzikos referencing the city's maritime prominence on the Propontis. An astragalos (knucklebone) appears behind the lion's head in the field, serving as the identifying type-mark for this emission. The ethnic ΚΥ ΞΙ is placed in the field, abbreviating ΚΥΖΙΚΗΝΩΝ.
